Our founders
Distinctive Healthcare was founded by directors with extensive expertise in medical and allied health fields, specialising in neurological rehabilitation. We noticed a significant gap in ongoing rehabilitation support after hospital discharge, with many individuals experiencing reduced access to therapy and a decline in function over time. DHC was established to address this gap, ensuring that all support workers are trained to understand neurological conditions and each participant’s individual rehabilitation needs. We work closely with each participant’s treatment team to implement ongoing rehabilitation strategies in the home and community, supporting participants to achieve their functional goals and maximise their independence.
